Absolute is my lack of subtlety,
gauging, feigning satisfaction.
Rain comes and the door swells.
Every now and then, you see it for the first time.

"Every now and then..." was recorded between 2019 and 2022 in my make shift home studios of Auckland and Wellington. This project ties a bow on the varsity project that has been DJ Fuck Cops for the past 6 years. Truly inspired, there is a roster of features from family members to samples to celebrate.

Thank you Ella and Phoenix, my two sisters whom i will forever be inspired by. A Rap Phe sent me via facebook messenger sits on top of "Body Move" and "Start of Extinction" was written and recorded live by Ella on a junk shop Casio a few years ago and I had to share it with you.

Thanks to my Father for lending me his old Organ and his guitar featured throughout the album. Thanks to Bran for recommending I pull the sample for the record aptly titled "B" from a youtube video aptly titled "The Biggest Boobs Record Guinness."

Thanks to my Mother for gifting me her record collection where I found Glenn Gibbs "Its High Time" released on Konkurrel in 1986. I can only imagine its influence on my mothers generation following the springbok tour of '81. Accompanying the voice of Gibbs on "Same" is the Saxophone of Tyaan Singh, recommended by our friend Neil McLeod, both of whom I am grateful for spending their time.

Thanks to my love Hannah for keeping me safe and sound and my dear friend Daniel for keeping me grounded. Thanks to Jono, Bran & Ike for being around and George for always backing me even when I was a monster.
